Especially the fact that those two are going to the same place and becoming doctors, it’s honestly just amazing for a prologue. I really liked the contrast between Chris and Dan's reasons for wanting to become doctors. Given that Chris's family doesn't seem to be rolling in money, it's hard to blame him.
